58. Is it not more ethical to hunt and kill a single wild animal?

This confuses a voluntary app with an accident. Killing an animal in hunting is a deliberate and premeditated act whose direct purpose is to take a life, whereas deaths related to plant cultivation are unintentional accidents. Furthermore, hunting is neither viable nor sustainable for everyone: if everyone wanted to eat meat this way, there would be no wild animals left to hunt in a very short time. Finally, it perpetuates the idea that animals are resources for humans, which justifies and fuels the existence of industrial animal agriculture.
