3. Is it impossible to be 100% vegan?

Veganism does not demand an impossible absolute purity in a world structured around exploitation, but rather the exclusion of it "as far as is possible and practicable." The inability to eliminate every trace of indirect harm in no way justifies abandoning the duty to prevent avoidable and intentional suffering. Striving for ethical consistency means drastically reducing our negative impact rather than using the excuse of unattainable perfection to avoid taking action.
